Jesus doesn't say your treasure follows your heart. He says it the other way around. Where your money goes… your heart follows it there.
So let's get honest. Just you and the Lord. Not to feel guilty about the coffee or the little treats. But to ask a tender question.
Is my spending pointing toward the life I actually want? Toward this body I've been given to steward?
Father, before I look at a single number, settle my heart. Quiet the guilt and anxiety. Walk with me through this, and help me trust that You meet me here with grace, never a scoreboard.Amen.
This part takes a little courage. Not because the numbers are bad, but because most of us never actually look. Take your best guess for each one. Round numbers are perfect. Nobody sees this but you and the Lord.
"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts."
Psalm 139:23
Lord, thank You that the truth has never scared You. You knew every number before I did, and You love me still. Search my heart, show me what's mindless and what's meaningful, and lead me gently toward the life You have for me.Amen.
Think of the one thing you've wanted for your health, your body, your peace… and quietly told yourself was too much. Too expensive. Too indulgent. Not for you, not in this season of pouring yourself out for everyone else. Name it. It gets to come out of hiding.
"Beloved, I pray that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul."
3 John 1:2
Father, thank You for the longing You placed in me. Help me believe I'm worth caring for, because You made this body and called it good. Let this be less about a goal, and more about trusting You with it.Amen.
You don't have to give it all up. That was never the point. Just nudge a few of these down, by whatever feels honest to you, and watch the room appear. You'll be surprised how close it was the whole time.
"Whoever is faithful with very little is faithful also with much."
Luke 16:10
Father, You see every dollar and every longing. Help me hold it all with open hands. Show me where my heart has wandered, and gently lead it home.Amen.
We opened on this verse. We close on it too. Because that's the whole thing, isn't it. Not guilt, not a budget, not striving. Just your heart and your treasure, finally pointed the same direction.

One last thing, friend. If wellness has been the quiet thing calling you, here's what I personally use and love.
No pressure, no pitch. Just me, showing you what's in my cabinet. The first three work for anyone.
My coffee replacement. The Mango is the caffeinated one, so it's my actual morning now. (There are caffeine-free options too if that's more your speed.)
I like it too much to skip. It's meant to be taken daily, though if money's tight you can stretch one pack by going every other day. I just don't have that kind of restraint.
I take this one as part of my health and fitness goals, for the metabolic and glucose support, and it's helped me get more in tune with my fullness signals. Just what I've noticed for me, everyone's different.
My newest. The most budget-friendly place to start, with a lot of the same benefits as Happy Juice. I've heard it really helps with mood, sleep, and PMS.
Father, thank You for walking me all the way here. Take what I've decided and make it real in me. Let my treasure and my heart stay pointed toward You, and toward the life You so freely give.Amen.
She believed God when He said stretch.
So she stopped shrinking.
